This conference is intended to bring together specialists in the field of electric power supply around the world. PQ2008 will offer an international forum for the exchange of scientific and technical information. Our goal is to provide best atmosphere for sharing the latest developments and experience in the field of electric power quality and power supply reliability.

PQ2008 is the 6th conference under this title. Conference is organized by Tallinn University of Technology. Last conference was in held August 2006. Every conference has brought together 50-60 participants.

Papers are invited for the following topics:

*     Electric power quality

*     Reactive power compensation

*     Harmonics and flicker

*     Voltage dips and impulses

*     Transient phenomena

*     Interruptions and outages

*     Power quality monitoring

*     Remote metering and recording

*     Earth faults

*     Transient overvoltages

*     Detection of faults location

*     Simulation tools and software

Important dates:

February 29th, 2008 : abstracts submission

April 4th, 2008 : programme layout and paper acceptance notification

June 15th, 2008 : camera ready full paper submission deadline

August 8th, 2008 : conference participation registration

Papers are expected to be 4 A4 pages long. All papers presented would be published in the conference proceedings.
