Important notice to all SPM attendees: SPM 2020 will be organised as a teleconference due to the coronavirus outbreak. The conference program will be exactly the same as previously years; it will include paper presentations, keynote talks and several workshops but everything will be done using remote conferencing services. All attendees will participate to the conference remotely with video/audio and slide sharing; there will be no on-site participation.

The Symposium on Solid and Physical Modeling (SPM) is an international conference series organised annually with the support of the Solid Modeling Association (SMA). This conference is in-cooperation with the ACM Siggraph and the Eurographics Association. SPM 2020 will be hosted at the University of Strasbourg and organised by the ICube laboratory. It will be co-located with the Shape Modeling International (SMI 2020). The conference aims at all aspects of geometric and physical modeling, and their application in design, analysis and manufacturing, as well as in biomedical, geophysical, digital entertainment, and other areas. The conference serves also as a ceremony for awarding the 2020 Pierre Bézier Prize for contributions to solid, shape, and physical modeling.
