As an IEEE CS conference, CIT has become a major platform for researchers and industry practitioners from different fields of computer and information technology. Each year, CIT attendees appreciate and benefit from multidisciplinary exchanges in computer and information technology. In previous years, CIT has attracted many high quality research papers spanning over the various aspects of information technology, computing science and computer engineering. These papers highlight foundational work that strives to push beyond limits of existing computer technologies, including experimental efforts, innovative systems, and investigations that identify weaknesses in existing IT services. Scope * Database and Data Mining * Internet and Web Applications * High Performance Computing * Networking and Mobile Computing * Multimedia Systems * Computer Graphics and Information Visualization * IT in Biomedicine * Visual Analysis * Information Systems * Image Processing * Information Security * Embedded Systems * Software Engineering * Ubiquitous and Sensor Network * Service Oriented Computing * VLSI and Design Methodology * Video Surveillance Paper Submission: Authors are invited to submit an electronic copy (Adobe PDF file) of their draft paper which is up to about 6 pages of two-column format. Please see http://www.computer.org/portal/pages/cscps/cps/cps_forms.html for detailed paper format requirements. On-line draft paper submission will be available. Publications: Submitted papers will be fully refereed by at least two reviewers. Accepted papers will be published by IEEE Computer Society in proceedings of CIT2008. The papers will be included in IEEE digital library and indexed by EI. Selected papers will be published in journals as special issues. Conference Sessions and Tutorials Proposals: The conference is calling for people to create and organize conference sessions and tutorials. Proposals for conference sessions and tutorials should include the following information: 1) Name, position and contact information of proposals, 2) Name of session or tutorial, and 3) A short description of the session or tutorial. Each session is expected to have minimum 6 papers for presentation. Proposals should be submitted by email to: wuq@it.uts.edu.au no later than 9 November, 2007. Important Dates: * Proposals for tutorials and sessions due: 09 November, 2007 * Acceptance of sessions/tutorials: 16 November, 2007 * Full paper due: 11 January, 2008 * Notification of acceptance: 06 March, 2008 * Camera-ready paper with early registration due: 31 March, 2008 * CIT2008: 8 - 11 July 2008
