The Eight International Conference Intelligent Virtual Agents (IVA'08) will be held in Tokyo, Japan, Sept. 1-3, 2008. The conference will gather researchers studying different aspects in the creation of, and interaction with virtual agents. Prospective authors are invited to submit full papers (12-14 pages), short papers (6-7 pages), or poster papers (1 page) in Springer LNAI format.
