The 2009 American Control Conference (ACC) will be held Wednesday through Friday, June 10-12, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis Riverfront in St. Louis , Missouri.

The ACC is the annual conference of the American Automatic Control Council, the U.S. national member organization of the International Federation for Automatic Control. The 2009 ACC technical program will cover new developments related to theory, application, and education in control science and engineering. In addition to regular technical sessions the program will also feature interactive and tutorial sessions and preconference workshops.

National and international society cosponsors of ACC include the the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), Association of Iron and Steel Technology (AIST), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), International Society for Measurement and Control (ISA), and the Society for Computer Simulation (SCS).

St. Louis is home to the majestic Gateway Arch, the nation's tallest man-made monument and the Eads Bridge, the first bridge to use steel truss construction. St. Louis offers a variety of activities and attractions including Forest Park, home to the Louisiana Purchase Exposition, also known as the greatest of the World's Fairs, the City Museum, Botanical Garden, Soulard Farmers Market, St. Louis Union Station, award-winning restaurants, riverboat cruises, professional sports, and an acclaimed nightlife and music scene.
