Title: Decision Intelligence with Soft Computing
Guest Editors: Jie Lu & Guangquan Zhang (University of Technology, Sydney, Australia)
This special issue aims at offering a systematic overview of the new field decision intelligence integrated with soft computing techniques. It is dedicated to 2008 International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Knowledge Engineering (ISKE2008, Nov 17-18, 2008, Xiamen, China). A strict review procedure will be organized to finally 10 selected papers from ISKE2008 to the special issue based on the following criteria:
1. Quality and originality in theory and methodology of decision intelligence with soft computing techniques
2. Application oriented exhibiting originality with reasonable theory involved
Possible topics in the special issue:
• Intelligent decision support systems
• Group decision support systems
• Uncertain information management in decision making
• Soft computing techniques application in decision systems
• Personalized recommender systems
• Online intelligent information retrieval systems
• Knowledge management systems

Electronic submissions in PDF are strongly encouraged. Please e-mail your submission to Prof. Jie LU at jielu@it.uts.edu.au including the name of the file, and mentioning that it is for the Special Issue on Decision Intelligence with Soft Computing (DISC) on the “subject” of your email.
