Submissions

ISSS 2009 seeks two types of contributions:

  • Full research papers (english, 10 pages),
  • Industrial experience papers (english, 6 pages).

All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous double blind peer review process. Hence, the author(s) name(s) and address(s) must NOT appear in the body of the submitted paper, and self-references should be in the third person. Only the title should be shown at the first page, without the author's information. Papers will be selected based on originality, quality, soundness and relevance. All contributions must be original, not published, accepted or submitted for publication elsewhere.


Important Dates

  • Submission of symposium papers: Oct. 25, 2008
  • Author Notification of Acceptance: Nov. 30, 2008
  • Submission of publication-ready papers: Dec. 31, 2008
  • Symposium dates: March 23-25, 2009


Publishing of accepted works

All research and industrial papers will be published within a series of the Institute for Applied Informatics (InfAI) e. V. published by Logos Verlag Berlin (Scientific Publisher).

Selected best papers will be invited to create extended versions and submit to special issues of international journals (e.g. Electronic Markets Journal ).
