Submissions

Submission instructions for AIED2013

Thank you for your interest in submitting a paper to AIED2013. The following steps will be helpful in preparing and submitting your paper on time.

Step 1. Decide which category of paper you would like to submit, and make a note of the due date and page limits. The submission dates are always available on the Important Dates page.

Page limits are provided in the Call For Papers, but repeated here for convenience:

  • Full papers (10 pages)
  • Posters (4 pages)
  • Doctoral consortium (4 pages)
  • Industry & Innovation short papers (4 pages)
  • Interactive events (1-2 pages)
  • Workshop proposals (2-4 pages)
  • Tutorial proposals (2-4 pages)
  • Please note: if you wish to submit a full paper to the Industry & Innovation track, it is due at the full paper deadline.

Step 2. If you are submitting a full, poster, DC, or I&I short paper, then you need to use the Springer conference proceedings template (Word2007, LaTeX2e) for your submission. Papers not in this format, that are overlength, or include modifications to the template will be returned.

  • Should you need it, you can find more information at the Springer Author information page.
  • If you are submitting an IE, Workshop, or Tutorial proposal, please refer to those CFPs. A plain word or text document is sufficient for these.

Step 3. Submit your paper, IE, workshop, or tutorial as a pdf through the AIED2013 Easychair site.

  • Make sure that you select the proper category during your submission.
  • You will receive an immediate confirmation email that your paper was uploaded properly – if you do not receive a confirmation email, double check in easychair that it was properly uploaded.

We will contact you directly if there are problems with your submission. Please check the AIED2013 website for updates – if reviewing is delayed or other unanticipated events arise, we will update the timeline appropriately.
