Call for participants: Final QALL-ME Workshop. Trento, Italy September 24-25 2009 DRIVING FUTURE QUESTION ANSWERING RESEARCH TRENDS AND MARKET PERSPECTIVES QALL-ME is a European funded project under the sixth Framework Programme. The general objective of the project is to establish a shared infrastructure for multilingual and multimodal open domain Question Answering for mobile devices. The project final workshop entitled DRIVING FUTURE QUESTION ANSWERING: RESEARCH TRENDS AND MARKET PERSPECTIVES to be held in Trento (Italy) from September 24th (whole day) to 25th (morning), 2009. Key people from research and industry will participate in this workshop aimed at designing the future directions in Question Answering. The objectives of the workshop are twofold. Firstly, to show and disseminate the results of the work developed during the QALL-ME project and, secondly, to open a debate about the future of Questions Answering. The workshop is structured in three sessions dealing with different perspectives: • RESEARCH TRENDS • TECHNOLOGICAL CHALLENGES • MARKET PERSPECTIVES Each session includes several invited talks ending with an interactive summary session where the main ideas in the session will be summarized and conclusions and future trends will be discussed.
